What does your offering accomplish?
As the Worldwide Church of God owns no buildings in Connecticut, offerings
and donations go directly into activities furthering the Kingdom of God.
In addition to providing the services you find here on the Web and
the typical ministerial support for church members within central Connecticut,
the WCG in Connecticut is actively encouraging personal spiritual growth
for people in Connecticut through
promoting Small Groups throughout the state.
The Church is also partnering with
Faith Comes By Hearing to promote the spread of the Gospel and growth of
the Body of Christ in the country of Rwanda as well as Free Inside Prison
Ministry, www.Free-Inside.com, in
serving struggling Christians in several state prisons.
The Worldwide Church of God in central Connecticut has developed into
more of a commuter
church than a neighborhood church, therefore activites and efforts are
oriented towards
the promotion of the greater Body of Christ, not so much the promotion of our
congregation specifically. Those touched by God through these activities
are encouraged to join the Body of Christ where the Holy Spirit leads them.
If new Christians decide to commute and worship with the Meriden congregation,
they are warmly invited, but fellowship and a personal relationship with
Christ and His people is the more important goal of our ministry.
The Worldwide Church of God in Central Connecticut also gives to those with
physical needs as God brings situations to the congregation's notice.
At worship services separate collections are collected for local shelters
as well as international help organizations such as Door of Hope Babies,
an organization supporting children with AIDS in South Africa.
We invite you to join hands with us as God moves your heart and you are able.
